Day 1
Former French Concession on foot
Wukang Road, Anfu Road, plane-tree shade and a string of independent cafés. We map a loop that links the best roasters with the design and vintage shops in between.
Day 2
Old town, Bund & the river
Yu Garden early, then the Bund. Cross to Pudong for the skyline, or stay west for a rooftop. Late night: a speakeasy the blogs haven't flooded yet.

Museums & markets
